Stephanie Wood
Stephanie is a digital editor and writer, with 13 years' experience working for some of the UK's biggest media brands. She is also a long-time volunteer, and has worked with several charities over the years. She travelled to Brazil when she was 22 to work on a volunteer project, teaching English to local street children. More recently, she worked as a befriender with charity Age UK, making weekly visits to an elderly lady in her local area. As a keen netballer and Level 2 Coach, Stephanie has also worked with local schools and clubs, helping young girls to develop skills and an appreciation of teamwork – both on and off the court. Stephanie lives in Harringay, North London, which she loves for its sense of community spirit. She recently helped out with a local volunteer project to renovate an elderly neighbour's studio flat in order to make it habitable whilst she was in hospital.
