Steven has worked for The Big Issue for close to a decade, becoming Features Editor in 2016 and Deputy Editor in 2020. His articles focus on social issues and culture interviews. For the magazine he has spoken to a wide variety of celebrated figures ranging from Oscar-winning actors and directors, Olympic gold medallists, government ministers, multiple Nobel laureates (including the Dalai Lama) and several famous Davids, including Attenborough, Lynch and Hasselhoff.
