We are delighted and relieved to let everyone know that Ralph & Jess were happily reunited yesterday. Whilst Ralph was desperately searching for lost Jess, she made her own way back to where they were sleeping and was waiting for him when he returned! An emotional reunion to say the least.
We are delighted and relieved to let everyone know that Ralph & Jess were happily reunited yesterday. Whilst Ralph was desperately searching for lost Jess, she made her own way back to where they were sleeping and was waiting for him when he returned! An emotional reunion to say the least.
As soon as we heard that she had gone missing we immediately put the word out on twitter and facebook. Straight away supporters began to share the message about Ralph’s desperate search. Within a few hours 20,000 people had been reached and, within less than a day from posting, a record-breaking 123,000 people had been reached by the call to action.
Big Issue Chief Executive, Stephen Robertson, said “It is incredibly heart warming that so many supporters were mobilised to support Ralph in his hunt for Jess. Vendors work in the heart of our communities, the ‘virtual’ community came out in force to offer some support in a very tough time – stars one and all”.
