Win Organizing for Creative People by Sheila Chandra, signed by Stik

Win Organizing for Creative People by former pop star Sheila Chandra, signed by street artist Stik

As a struggling homeless artist, street art sensation Stik met a woman by chance who changed his life: pop star Sheila Chandra. Now the artist is repaying her by penning an introduction to her new book, Organizing for Creative People.

Released on May 25 by Watkins Publishing, the book is a bible for creative people. Chandra was a successful singer and found pop fame in the 1980s singing Ever So Lonely with the band Monsoon.

Stik: My tipping point – a conversation with Charming Baker

Stik said: “Around 10 years ago at a party I met Sheila and we just clicked. She’s a remarkable woman – she taught me how to look after my inner artist, respect my creativity and refine myself.”

“I had a bunch of projects going on. I was a dancer, a musician, doing a bit of art, doing some cabaret. She told me to choose just one. It broke my heart to let those things go. But if you want to be an artist, you have to make a lot of sacrifices.

“If anyone is serious about being an artist, they need to read her book. It just cuts the crap. This is how to do it.”

We have five copies of Organizing for Creative People – signed by Stik – to give away. To win a copy, just answer this question:
