This year’s Glasgow Film Festival opens with Wes Anderson’s eagerly anticipated stop-motion animation Isle of Dogs. In the future, canine saturation has reached epidemic proportions and so all dogs are exiled to Trash Island. One boy travels there to search for his dog Spots, kicking off an adventure of precisely stylised, in the way only Wes Anderson can, proportions.
Most exciting of all, we have a competition prize which is really top dog. You could win a pair of tickets to the sold-out screening in Glasgow on 21 February, including entry to the exclusive after-party and an overnight stay for two at CitizenM – breakfast is included (though transportation to Glasgow is not).
To be in with a chance of winning, buy this week’s Big Issue and find the code word then send a postcard or email us at competitions@bigissue.com – include your details and a daytime telephone number.
Glasgow Film Festival runs from February 21–March 4. The full programme of over 330 individual events is live now at glasgowfilm.org/festival
