Deck your walls with limited edition prints by leading artists to support Big Issue at Christmas

Jealous has curated twelve exclusive prints from artists including Pure Evil, Dave Buonaguidi and Noel Fielding, with share of profits supporting Big Issue

Welsh street artist Pure Evil and Mighty Boosh actor-comedian Noel Fielding are amongst an eclectic mix of artists contributing works and exclusive editions towards Deck the Walls, a project which sees Big issue and Jealous Gallery raising money for people affected by poverty.

Artist-led fine art print publisher, studio and gallery Jealous has curated the new limited edition art collection, with 50% of the profits from each sales supporting Big Issue’s work to end poverty in the UK.

Twelve different artists have contributed work to the collection, each bringing their distinctive style to their designs.

Known for street art with a pop art twist, Pure Evil – the moniker of British artist Charles Uzzell-Edwards applies his signature drip motif in pastel over a monochrome image of Diana, Princess of Wales, as a nod to the late royal’s activism and charitable endeavours. Similarly inspired by pop culture, Jess Wilson’s ‘I Love It!’ plays on discourse around an often divisive breakfast spread via the artist’s signature ‘switch’ design.

Best known for appearing on The Mighty Boosh and The Great British Bake-Off, comedian-actor-writer Noel Fielding has contributed six prints that translate his distinctive use of surreal, black comedy into energetic works fit for every Christmas wish list. Self-described ‘accidental artist’ Magnus Gjoen’s intricate work Magna Res’ serves as a reminder of both mortality and the eternal struggle between light and darkness as Jake Chapman delivers a series of unique, shimmering works: ‘Memoirs of My Nervous Illness – 4, 6, 8, 14.’

Artists also contributing to the collection are Sara Pope whose trademark lip motifs meet 12 vibrant colourways in ‘Decadence Goes Pop’, Chris Levine’s ‘OM 136.1 Hz’ almost vibrates in jewel tones and geometric shapes, while Joe Webb, whose piece ‘Rewilding’ depicts the London skyline juxtaposed with vibrant wildlife and florals.

Sheffield-born artist Corbin Shaw continues his work recontextualising tabloid headlines in ‘Special Angel’, while Alma Singer’s charming work ‘Mates for Life’ features love-struck flamingos. Continuing on the theme of hope, UK artist Eeelus’ print ‘Weight of Choice’ is inspired by watching the artist’s daughter grow, play and learn to navigate her world and Dave Buonaguidi’s poignant ‘This Will Pass’ hints at brighter days ahead – a pertinent reminder for dark days.

These perfect Christmas gifts will help support Big Issue’s work to end poverty. The exclusive print run is an exciting evolution of Big Issue’s annual Christmas wrapping paper collection, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.

Dario Illari, director at Jealous, said: “We’re thrilled to once again partner with the Big Issue on their 2025 project, Deck The Walls, collaborating with artists to print very special editions in the Jealous Print Studio for a very good cause.

“Jealous works with quite a few good causes but the Big Issue is the one that we hold dearest to our heart. They’ve always supported us as much as we try to support them!”

Russell Blackman, Big Issue managing director, said: “We’re grateful to Jealous and the amazing artists they’ve assembled for this exciting print collection. The money we raise will Big Issue’s work to dismantle poverty and hardship in the UK.

“These collector’s items are ideal Christmas gifts – make sure to snap them up before they’re gone!”

Charles Uzzell-Edwards, aka Pure Evil, said: “I’ve worked with Big Issue on quite a few print releases over the years, it’s an honour to do it, they are an amazing organisation. Hopefully the print project helps Big Issue sellers with their Christmas too!”

The limited edition run of prints are now on sale on Jealous’s website.
