Great bargains at The Big Issue Shop from Black Friday to Cyber Monday

Exclusive deals and massive discounts galore in the Big Issue Shop to mark Britain’s biggest shopping weekend of the year

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are almost upon us – yes, it’s peak Christmas shopping time this weekend.

To mark the occasion, you could battle a bunch of bargain hunters for a budget 50-inch telly in the aisles of the local supermarket. Or you could set your alarm to wake up at the crack of dawn to land that fitness-tracking watch when the price drops for one hour only.

But there is another way! The Big Issue Shop is slashing prices with exclusive deals and massive discounts that will let you support great causes in the UK and across the globe all weekend long without feeling the pinch in your pockets.

Social echo

Kicking off with the big day on Black Friday, kit yourself out in smart clobber with a social echo for up to 30 per cent less.

Then on Saturday, you can catch up with culture as prices on artworks and prints are slashed by 20 per cent. Eye-catching works from our Street Art contributors, produced by artists who have experienced homelessness or mental health issues, and from founder John Bird, are all on offer to brighten up your walls.

Sunday is fun day with a raft of reductions on children’s toys. Up to 25 per cent has been taken off the price of new Pebble products – so you can make a kid’s day as well as helping out the talented artisan who crafted the toy in Bangladesh (below). Or get into the Christmas spirit with a hand-knitted reindeer or snowman.

As Cyber Monday moves into full swing, there will be up to 40 per cent discounts on home and gift items. Whether it is that ideal stocking filler for a sibling or the perfect present for that hard-to-buy-for uncle, the Big Issue Shop has you covered.

Cards and magazines

Mugs, candles and cushions are all on offer as well exclusive Big Issue-designed Christmas cards. The sale is also a great time to catch up with those magazines you have missed, including: the one-of-a-kind Southampton FC edition, a signed copy of Ben Eine’s anniversary editions, and Street Cat Bob in Japan.

  • Go to The Big Issue Shop every day from Friday to Monday and follow @BigIssue on Twitter for more details – and beat Santa to the best bargains!
