Nice, nice baby! Catch Susie Verrill’s new collection in The Big Issue Shop

The lifestyle writer has teamed up with social enterprise From Babies With Love for an eye-catching collection that is perfect for your little one – and others too

Kitting out your bouncing baby is a constant moving target – they’re growing all the time, meaning new threads are a necessity every few months. And that’s if their clothes survive all the crawling, thrills and, of course, spills.

Enter Susie J Verrill. The lifestyle writer and blogger knows a thing or two about being a mum – she has two sprogs with Olympic gold-medal-winning long jumper Greg Rutherford.

So she’s the perfect choice to team-up with social enterprise From Babies With Love for her brand-new Elephant Family collection, which has just landed in The Big Issue Shop.

The elephant is traditionally a lucky animal, featuring on jewellery worn as a good luck charm by millions across the world as well as making its mark in ancient Chinese feng shui.

Ideal to give your tiny tot a great start in life then, in the eye-catching – as well as 100 per cent organic and ethically-produced – From Babies With Love clobber.

The tusk-toting animals feature on the intricately designed baby grows, knot hats and bandana bibs in the collection and give good luck not only to your pride and joy but also kids around the world too.

From Babies With Love helps orphaned and abandoned children all over the globe, donating £100,000 by the end of 2017. And Susie is spearheading the social enterprise’s attempts to grow this year.

“I was honoured to be asked to collaborate with From Babies with Love,” she says. “I love their vision and their commitment to supporting those babies and children that need it the most all over the world. It’s so exciting to work with a brand that creates gorgeous clothes, accessories and toys but also makes a real difference to vulnerable children. I really hope people love this collection as much as I do.”

From Babies With Love is committed to giving 100% of profits to orphaned and abandoned children, and donates its profits to international charities such as Street Child.

“Following the success of our First Kisses collection last year, we really wanted to capitalise on the momentum and join forces with Susie,” says Cecilia Crossley, founder of From Babies with Love. “She’s a perfect partner for From Babies with Love: she’s a great mum, with a wonderful sense of humour and a huge heart and we love the collection we’ve created together.”
