JP Morgan joins The Big Exchange for fairer, sustainable investing

JP Morgan Asset Management has joined The Big Exchange, fuelling the growing movement towards fair, sustainable and inclusive finance.

JP Morgan has joined the growing list of organisations partnering with The Big Exchange to offer people a more ethical way to invest their money.

Savers can now choose The JPM Emerging Markets Equity Fund as one of 45 ethical investment options through The Big Exchange, a sustainable and responsible investment platform co-founded by The Big Issue and a coalition of industry partners.

The JPM Emerging Markets Sustainable Equity Fund invests in companies believed “to have effective governance and superior management of environmental and social issues”, according to the JP Morgan website.

“The investment industry has an urgent and vital role to play in addressing the global challenges that are facing our planet and society,” said Jill Jackson, chief executive of The Big Exchange. “We’re delighted to welcome JP Morgan Asset Management to partner with us and add to the choice for UK customers seeking access to independently rated sustainable and impact funds that work towards positive outcomes for society and the environment as well as aiming to help people achieve their investment objectives.”

“We’re therefore delighted that one of our sustainable funds, JPM Emerging Markets Sustainable Equity Fund, has been selected to join this innovative platform – a fund built on a long-established strategy, which offers investors access to sustainable leaders across emerging markets. We’re looking forward to building on and being part of The Big Exchange’s mission to both increase financial inclusion in the UK and have a positive impact.”
