Harry Clark, the winner of The Traitors‘ second series, has big questions to ask about his family tree. But what he really wants to know is whether anyone reading has any spare Oasis tickets.

As part of the Big Issue’s My Big Year series, we caught up with Clark about how he celebrated his The Traitors win, his chaotic browsing history and how he plans to spend the festive season.

Here’s everything you need to know about Harry Clark’s past year – and his hopes for 2025.

BIG ISSUE: What has been the standout moment of 2024?

HARRY CLARK: I had the money behind me after winning The Traitors so I spent it on my family and treated us all to a family holiday in July. That was the first time they had been abroad since 2011 so I took us all to Portugal – me, my girlfriend, my brothers, my sisters, my mum and my dad. It was weird because the last time I was abroad I was 10 and this time I was 23 so I could have a beer with my little brother. That was the first time throughout the whole of 2024 that I patted myself on back.

Are you more or less hopeful than at the start of 2024?

Of course I’m more hopeful, if I was less hopeful that would be a bit worrying. I’m more hopeful because I am now in a position where I can make sense of my life. At the start of 2024 I didn’t know what was going to happen, I didn’t know who I would come across on The Traitors or how people would perceive me. I didn’t know what was going to happen when I left the army, I thought I would be alone. It was a scary moment at the start of the year so I am definitely more hopeful.

Did you get Oasis tickets?

No, and I am getting a kick up the arse because my brothers and I really want to go. We were on about six different laptops in a queue of about 100,000 people and it just didn’t work out. So if there is anyone out there with three spare tickets I would absolutely love that.

What is your cultural highlight of 2024?

It probably has to be The Traitors!

What would your browsing history say about you this year?

It would show that I am a very interesting person, it is the most random jumble of things full of searches like, ‘How much is Elvis Presley worth?’ ‘How many stars are in our universe?’ ‘Are aliens real?’ My search engine is all over the place, I’m absolutely mental.

What’s your biggest failure this year?

To be honest, I wouldn’t necessarily say I have failed at all this year. I have tried to give everything 100%, the only thing would be shows I just missed out on and didn’t end up getting, but you should never see things as a failure, just working towards things.

What’s the one conversation you wish you were able to have in 2024?

I wish I had more time to speak to my grandparents, although I see them as much as I can. I just want to have a conversation to know what their parents were like. As you get older, especially in this generation, you only ever know about your grandparents and not much else above them. I wish I had that conversation more, to talk to them to find out about their parents and grandparents, what they were like and how that relates to me. Of course, I also wished I hadn’t signed an NDA related to The Traitors, I wish I could have run around the streets and told everyone I won some money but I wasn’t allowed to do that. I wish I could have done.

What is the oddest family Christmas tradition you keep?

Every Christmas Eve we go to church together, and my grandad will bring us reindeer food that we can sprinkle on the front garden to make sure Father Christmas’s reindeer knows where to land.

What’s your big issue for 2025?

Ending homelessness, especially through the military. Being in the military for six years, seeing squaddies out on the street after serving their country, doesn’t make sense to me. Hopefully, in the near future, I will be able to create a business on my own to help these people, help the people who are on the streets in need of help, especially those who served in the military, recruit them and give them a lifeline to get their lives back on track and get a fully functioning job.
