Street art exhibition raising funds to take circus skills into orphanages

Oh what a circus…

Balloon Circus travels the world, teaching circus skills to children in orphanages. Workshops provide children with opportunities to learn new skills through balloon art and interactive circus sessions.

The aim of Balloon Circus is to “awaken the inner performer and empower the children to sharpen their physical, mental, and social skills to affect social change. Balloon Circus inspires smiles and laughter through a memorable and exciting experience.”

Balloon Circus has visited 128 orphanages to date, working with over 7,500 children in South East Asia, South Africa and South America. A new exhibition will raise money for their next tour. ‘Street kids vs Street artists’ showcases original postcard-sized artwork created by internationally recognised street artists alongside pieces by children living in orphanages.

Artists involved include Sean Duffell, Jeff Gillette, Haqq, Kev Munday and many more.

Postcard packs are available to buy for £25, with original artwork hidden in some of the packs. An exhibition will take place at a London art gallery at the beginning of September (date tbc) in London and will include a free private view event.
